Welcome to Japan Africa Asia Partnership Forum

The Japan Africa Asia Partnership Forum ( JAAPF) is a Japanese – registered non-profit organization based in Kyoto recognized by the Kyoto City Government as an international non-profit institution. The JAAPF aims to link Japanese academia, business and local government with Africa and Asian stakeholders to co-create mutually beneficial solutions and technology transfer in pursuance of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and a better world for all. Our areas of focus are Food & Agriculture, Health, Water and Energy sectors.

The JAAPF is a platform in Japan to work with African and Asian local partners to fulfil the basic needs and income generation of the local people by activating and optimizing the already existing indigenous (traditional) knowledge and the  local natural resources with maximum care of protection, conservation and usage of nature. It aims to foster the new small businesses creating as much as possible self employed sectors developing various layers of value chain related activities locally and regionally. The 'my Innovation, my self-reliance hubs ' in every local communities will be created to foster total factor productivity (TFP) and high value added in business.

Japan being a country with one of the largest number of privately owned proprietary technologies in the cross section of the industry is a major donor of ODA and portfolio investor in Africa  and Asia. The JAAPF attempts to do the meaningful works for the socio-economic up lifting the  region by creating organic collaborative networks for sustainable human relations development for the mutual benefits enhancing academic, business and cultural linkages.

JAAPF vows to contribute to the next generation of academia,  business people and social activist through multi-culturally sensitive capacity building and co-creations of projects through the vision of infinitude of the private individual.
